Lumail - The console email client

Lua primitives: headers()

NOTE: Lumail-legacy has been superseded by Lumail 2.x, which has a wholly unified Lua API.

When in message-mode a message will be displayed upon the screen. The display consists of two parts:

The list of headers, and their orders, is specified via the headers table.

For example:

headers = { "$TO", "$FROM", "$DATE", "$SUBJECT" };

There are several values that are defined:

$TOThe recipient of the message.
$FROMThe sender of the message.
$SUBJECTThe subject of the message.
$DATEThe date of the message.

Any other value will be similarly treated as a message-header. So the following is valid:

headers = { "$TO", "$FROM", "$DATE", "$Message-ID" };

This function has been available since version 0.07.
